Newborn Care
Congratulations on your new bundle of joy! This is an exciting time for parents and families but can be also be filled with anxiety and many questions. We are here to help you every step of the way! Dr. Howze will not provide hospital rounds on newborns at any local hospital but will see you at the following visits:
24-72 hours after discharge from the hospital
2 weeks for a weight check
2 months for the first visit for immunizations.
It is our commitment to provide parents with the necessary resources they need- lactation support, post partum depression screen, follow up on newborn screens, provide time to review anticipatory guidance or an in office elective circumcision for male infants less than 14 days old. text us to ask Dr. Howze your questions.
